Bush's tax cuts give $100 to 50% of Americans, $1000 to 25% of Americans, $10,000 to 15% of Americans, %25,000 to 8% of Americans, $100,000 to 1% of Americans and $1,000,000 to 1% of Americans. (rough numbers of course)
Why not give $500-$10,000 to the first 90% and nothing to the top 10%, but give it all now instead of over 5 years. And do away with tax-free estates over $1,500,000. Otherwise the rich kids just get richer without doing any work.
The richest people are the ones who most benefit from everything. The US has the lowest taxes for the very rich in the western world. Make them pay for our defense if they want to be protected. And they can still write-off their Lear Jets. |
