Jack, The fact that the Republicans are economic wmds is no surprise. But their record in war this century isn't so hot, either.
WWI, Victory, Wilson, Democrat.
WWII, Victory, Truman, Democrat.
Korea, stalemate, Eisenhower, Republican.
Vietnam, loss, Nixon, Republican.
Of course, part of it depends on what you call a war. Some would only consider WWI and WWII real wars. Others would consider Grenada, Iraq and even Lebanon real wars. I consider those 4 real wars, along with the Cold War, which the real Prez Bush won. |
