Well Don, you are not alone in ripping that article. As far as I am aware all of the criticism so far has come from the supporters of the White House policy. I gather that is not your position (please let know if I am wrong about this assumption). Your comments about the 'right wing propaganda flying' are a bit out of context.

As far as the article itself is concerned I also think that it could, under normal conditions, have gone a bit further and that a certain amount of auto-censorship is evident. It helps to read between the lines.

Yet the facts presented can only be interpreted as damaging to the current administration and that is why it has been criticized by the right wing.

His suggestion that the neocon plan has a small possibility of becoming a reality, is in my mind totally plausible. Not good (and that is his point as well), but definitely plausible. Let's face it after 9/11 anything is possible, the last two years have proved that much.
