But if Iraq never had any weaponized chemical or biological agents, then Mr. Bush has plenty of explaining to do to the children of the Americans and the Iraqis who died in the war.
This guy can't get through apologizing for one stupid remark before he makes another. Bush, APOLOGIZE to the children of the Iraqis whom he FREED? I don't think so.
President Bush, in his State of the Union address, described a vast Iraqi weapons program and talked about several mobile labs, 30,000 munitions, 500 tons of chemical weapons, 25,000 liters of anthrax and 38,000 liters of botulinum toxin. These weapons were supposedly deployed in the war and controlled by field commands that we have long since overrun — so where are they? Again, the Left was proved wrong.
The bigger question is, "If WE'RE having trouble finding this stuff, how on earth could weapons inspectors, being led around by their noses, have found them?" Again, the Left was proved wrong.
No one got the level of resistance quite right.
WRONG. No rational person could argue that Tommy Franks didn't have the "level of resistance" quite right. I do not know how a more perfect war could have been waged. Everyone who knows about these things has said this war will be the textbook model for future military planners on how to conduct a war.
Bottom line: The Left has been wrong about every aspect of this war. They literally haven't gotten ONE THING right. |
