KT, you conveniently overlook the fact that Nam was not going well under LBJ- who escalated our involvement. After WWII the public was tired of war . The real victories would have been to avoid some of these wars in the first place like WWI , Korea and Viet Nam. WWII was clearly important to the world. Mike
