Mike, I didn't overlook it. I just put the blame on the guy who was on duty at the end. Roosevelt was much more responsible than Truman for the victory in WWII. And Truman-Reagan were really responsible for the Cold War victory, not just Bush. Depending upon which Prez you liked, you could say that Truman, Ike, Kennedy or Reagan did the most to win the cold war. It's kind of hard to give Ford, LBJ or Carter that much credit. Some would say Nixon due to his kowtowing to China. But that is not the way the high school history books will read. In military affairs, if it happens on your watch, good or bad, it's your baby.
