I personally have no problem, whatsoever, with companies which do not hire the people holding H-1B visa. I was only answer the other person's post, and pointed out his wish is very hard to come true.

I'm not exactly sure what you are trying to say. I thought that I was the other person. And that you were giving me a little joke, by saying that today many students from China were going back to China to work instead of staying in the US and working here.

The issue is that the companies often prefer to hire people H-1B visas rather than US citizens (or people with green cards) Companies often can pay less to an employee working on an H-1B visa and have more control over them. But with unemployment in the tech sector at such high levels the unemployed workers are complaining to the representatives about these types of practices.

I also don't see what you mean when you say that the unemployed techies are setting up web sites to bash H-1B foreigners. I don't see that at all.

Because what the they want is for the American companies to hire an unemployed American citizen before hiring a foreign worker with an H-1B visa. So I don't see them bashing anyone but the companies doing the hiring.

Outsourcing jobs overseas is a different issue and presumably much more difficult for the US Congress to legislate. Having jobs migrate to the most efficient place where they can be performed is a basic tenet of capitalism. So I would not be in favor of trade protectionism just to keep jobs in the USA.
