Powell has been stabbed in the back by Bushies. Tragic for this country. He was indeed the one man in the Bush WH who the world looked up to and trusted to a degree. It will be a huge scandal if Powell resigns under pressure, and will expose the hard-right chickenhawks as what they really are, selfish armchair commanders with extreme visions of US imperialism benefitting their pet industries and causes. Flag-waving will look very hollow indeed after Bushies stab a hero like Powell in the back, especially when they are also atacking war hero John Kerry every day with silly lies. And if Kerry runs with McCain, they'll stab him too.
