The current fundamentals are simple, the current account deficit is at 5% of GDP, a warning sign to any other world currency, maybe the dollar will be a little different, but I still have us going all the way to $1.18 to the Euro ($1.12 is probably the next "test"), thus my bullishness on gold (and bearishness on equities for now, though that is not the only reason...).
