Of course Bush is lying. The oil now belongs 50% to his oil cronies. They will take a big cut themselves, make huge profits (protected by US oldiers at tax-payer expense), then give whatever is left to the Irais.

First, our Iragi cronies will take a cut, then the Kuwaits and other "willing" parties to whom money is owed, then the Iragi people. It's called "trickle-down" Iraqi style. They'll be lucky to get 20% of the revenues. See that's why Bushies dont want the UN in there, they'd make us give the Iraqis 75% or more. Big difference to the Houston economy, and Bush's campaign contributors.
