Currencies that are appreciating against the USD according to Bloomberg ranking: (until Apr. 15th) 1) Brazilian Real 17% this year. 2) Argentinean Peso 3) South African Rand. Further, the CAN Dollar and Aussie dollar reached a 3-year high against the USD yesterday. 2) Speculators questioning HK dollar pegged exchange rate's ability to weather SARS may have people running away from the HK dollar.
