As i thought. You have no reasons to believe in the UN other than vague philosophical precepts. Your statement that the US "needs " the UN reminds me of the arguments toward the end of the tech stock bubble that the telcom co's would have to keep on buying huge amts of tech gear just because their competitors are doing so. Well it really doesn't work that way.
