Gottfried, With apology for late reply. I am still analyzing how I racked up a life-time supply of Capital-Loss-Carry-Forward.

Basically it's the same sob story that every long-term buy/hold can recite. The big losses were in stocks that went to zero, or near zero. The so-called deep drivers like I2, Exodus, SFAM, ADCT, FMO, etc.... I don't know if extent of the destruction of these equities was obvious ahead of time. But it should have been clear that their business plans were not working as expected.

I have only myself to blame for the losses. My fundamental analysis was very incompetent. And since my investment approach is contrarian, the bad fundamental judgement was a killer.
