True. It seems that the doomsayers are ruling the day right now - every "problem" is magnified to horrifying proportions. Ordinary economic shifts are seen as portents of looming disaster. It reminds me of the 70s when so many were terrified of inflation and felt that we were in a box with no escape. I seem to be one of the few who think that the trends are still good, that strong economic growth will return to the U.S. and abroad. Don't lose sight of the big trends!
