Bill,
The State Department has long been a true foggy bottom. Calls for reform have come from both left and right over the years. Depends on whose ox is being gored, i guess. Reform of the department and injecting new blood are sorely needed in State. Neocons, neolibs, all should be welcome. They need folks who can think regardless of views and are not merely political cronies. So Newt is right. Mike
