I think it is going to be very interesting to see how the U.S. attempts to stiff the Russians and the French by repudiating the Iraqi sovereign debt.

A very stupid precedent. Not the worst they have set, in light of the preemptive doctrine they have unleashed upon the world, of course.

Now, let's watch and laugh as the countries that owe the most to the US "change regimes" (read: change governments) and declare their debt to the US erased a la Iraqienne.
