The first is that weak currency is only good for net exporter economies which we are not.

You don't need to be a "net exporter" to benefit from a decline in the currency and realize what I am saying is that we are going from an overvalued currency to a properly valued currency not an undervalued one. Every U.S. company that competes with foreign imports has been at a competitive disadvantage the last few years even if they don't export a single product.

The second is that if I were a foreign investor and I thought USD is going to keep falling, I would take back my money.


And if enough tried to "take back" their money, the dollar would adjust at once.

I say we are devaluing USD ala reversing the strong dollar policy

Nah. There's no policy change, it's only the markets doing their job.
