Do you even know what speech I am talking about?

You say "you can read anything you want into that speech". Please show me how you can read other stuff in the Nov 2002 speech of Bernanke.

You may have missed the discussions at the time, after which there was serious fleeing from USD into gold. We who have seen the change in policy made quite a bit of money that way. And personally, I don't intend to go back into USD denominated assets anytime soon.

On the other hand, if you really do believe the US is continuing with its strong dollar policy, that the government INTENDS the USD to stay strong, what do you think the slide of the USD means? That the government has lost control over the economy?
