<<Reform of the department and injecting new blood are sorely needed in State.>>
Must be a difficult task, all those deals with over 150 Nations, plus the UN,EU, Nato, to keep track of. So one has to be a member of the establishment with experience, to get cooperation of all the underlings. Even 20 years in
the department may be considered a newby, with ideas easily overiden.
Talks and discussion have not changed much over the centuries, nor has trust in others words, even if one can understand them as they speak so many languages.

Like hey, I didn't agree with that so I am definitly against it, now if you had been nice and asked me I may have agreed to it after ohhhhhhh maybe 6 months of talks. And even then I would reserve the right to change my mind if I dont like the deal . How about another $4 bil and I will reconsider.?
Somebody should give Colin Powell a medal for bravery, just for trying to do the job.
