It's one reason I'm backing Kerry, because he has the potential, if necessary to neutralize Bush's gross advantage in special interest money with personal funds that come with no strings attached, unlike the bulk of Bush's money. Really funny they're saying he looks "French". That defines the low-brow, low-road they're going to take. If you can't beat them on substanc and issues, then try and emasculate Kerry. Problem is, Kerry is a bona fide war hero and Bush was a deserter, so it actually plays right into Kerry's hands. Gore never shed light on Bush's military scandal. Kerry will have a perfect right to, when they attack him, a Silver Star winner who took three bullets for his country, for his patriotism. I like the fact Theresa Heinz is fighting mad. The madder the better. Also helps that until a few months ago she was always a Republican. No liberal like Hillary Clinton. |
