Where has Sun EVER said they are working on anything that could be remotely called an "interpreted language"?

Before you show your lack of sense, Java is NOT interpreted.

I don't need to take time off to read up on the subject as I've just taken time off from studying it for 25 years and have even written a few of those papers.
