I'm English and Welsh, wife had a Scottish mother and Welsh father, both kids born here, real Canadians. Taught them soccer and baseball,of which we knew nothing before coming here. Son was able to get British passport because of us and has played for the Great Britain men's fastpitch team in European championships. Our neighbours had a pot luck dinner party ,night of Charlottetown referendum, everybody brought a dish typical of each of the Provinces, how Canadian, we took tortiere, my wife makes it really well. The big laugh is that we had to vote the way we voted that day as we arrived. Out of the whole party, 16 people I think, there were only 2 NO votes, mine and my wifes. Did we have some fine discussion that night.
