THEY DON'T CALL 'EM MASTERMINDS FOR NOTHING............

Rock,

Re: So, I guess that means some high level people in the military were conspiring to keep our pilots out of the sky, to "stand down".

Not only in the military, with regard to the violations of NORAD procedures, but prior to that in the FBI with regard to the investigations of al Qaeda activities within the U.S. during the spring and summer of 2001. As you might recall, there is an FBI supervisor named David Frasca who was the superior of FBI agent Colleen Rowley and FBI agent Richard Wright. Both of them have testified that they were told by Frasca to desist from promising leads in the investigation of Zacharias Moussaoui and others who were engaged in taking flight school lessons. This ought to cause for Frasca's dismissal in a normal world. But in the world of the criminal conspiracy being perpetrated by the Bushies, Frasca got a raise and a promotion for a job well done.

Another example is the way that many of the alleged 9/11 hijackers got into the country. Turns out that there are two tracks for Saudi Arabian nationals to get into the U.S. The normal channel is via a visa issued by the U.S. State Department. Several of the alleged hijackers were denied visas by the State Department attache in Riyahd, but State was overruled by the CIA station chief in Jeddah, who issued visas to the perps.

There is something rotten in the 'state of Denmark', and it ain't the cheese.
