The "Times Newspaper" used to be the establishment. It was shut down for many years because of unions strikes over "new technology" way back. It is owned by this guy.. news.bbc.co.uk Now I would say (apart from what Murdoch dictates) it is "cenralist" or "new labour". It has to sell newspapers to it has to gain a wide political acceptence. Tories are not doing very well in the UK right now. The Telegraph is the right wing news for the moment.
