bc -- it is quite easy to critique (I do it all the time... like now!), but take a step back for a second. Here's a post by someone that Shack and others say has called tops and bottoms very well, perhaps better than anyone else in recent years. He posts now in the same way he has always posted before. And I also may be wrong, but he didn't just "come down from the mountain top" as I believe he posts on PrudentBear with some regularity -- it's just not always reposted here. Anyway, if the post doesn't meet your criteria, you're wise to ignore it. But perhaps in your rush to critique it, you should say instead "no charts, no support, doesn't work for me. Here's what I'm seeing that counteracts/agrees with him." or something productive like that rather than your n-th post haranguing another poster for not providing you with enough details to make a case. Even AA said simply "he's wrong about breakouts, and here are a few examples" without posting charts.

I do agree that if something doesn't work for you, ignore it. I don't agree with you that every time something doesn't work, you have to post criticizing it. After all, while we're all here to try and help/learn from each other... there is no obligation to post to anyone else's specs. If there were, I'm sure I'd've been banned long ago!

respectfully,

the freep
