"It is entirely possible that in Iraq you have the most pro-American population that can be found anywhere in the Arab world,"

I suspect this is a true statement, save for Turkey and Qatar; although the majority of Iranians have become remarkably pro-American.

The reality is that Iraqis, today, are elated to have us in Iraq. There are certainly a few who don't, and they're getting plenty of airplay in the liberal media, but the vast majority of those in Baghdad haven't been heard from.

It seems a little strange to make judgments on this subject when the war is just over, they've had no electricity (and thus have received little pro-American propaganda, which will change within the next couple of days), and are essentially still operating on Saddam era lies.
