Feinstein is a strong moderate-liberal who if she wasn't a Jewish woman might be the choice for president. Problem is, the GOP spends so much time attacking minorities and women are being un-American pansies, a Jewish woman doesn't have a chance. Or an Asian woman. Or a Hispanic woman. Or any woman. Or any minority.
The GOP always attacks the women first. Ever notice that? And why? Because they have no programs for women and want to take away their birth control rights, health programs and kid's educations. See on this very thread Bushies pushing for zero health and education programs.
