Shack .. your guy against Blues ---- Dan Cloutier 4-3-0 -- 2.98 GAA --.894 I think he'll HAVE to do better against the Wild I feel there are TWO key players on the Wild number 35 Manny Fernandez I saw him, and really liked him during his stint in Dallas where he went 11-8-3 to go along with a 2.13 GAA he closed out the season ranked tied for third in the league in save percentage @ .922 I love to watch him play ... a good example is the last game where he slaps away a SURE goal with the knob end of his stick ..... fabulous ..... and number 10 Marian Gaborik whom the Wild picked third overall in the draft 2001 and who scored the goal to send the Avs into overtime he is a fine youngster and needs to have special attention paid to him by the Cancuks ... Gaborik has scored five career hat-tricks... Only Wayne Gretzky, Jimmy Carson and Dale Hawerchuk beat that before becoming 21 yrs old. He was the youngest player in the 2003 NHL All-Star Game and got three points. Number 10 is a gamer. All in all ... the Wild was lucky .. no doubt ... when one totals up the talent on the Avs .. gosh ... final minutes and Fernandez is facing Sakic, Foote, Foresberg, etc, and Roy in goal at the other end .... whew .... still ..... at the very end of the season (no playoffs incl) Minn went 13-7-2-0 for 28 points and the Canucks went 10-7-4-1 for 25 points best NOT sell them short <gggg>
