Reminds me of a story my brother in law tells about his dad (can apply to all). When he was 16 he just for the life of him couldn't understand what an idiot his father was - the guy knew nothing! When he turned 21 he began turning to his dad for advice - he was amazed how much wisdom his father developed in those five years!
