I seem to recall a lot of discussion here, to the effect that only 100,000 inspectors on the ground in U.S. uniforms, could end Iraq's WMD program. A view which the Hawks vigorously upheld. And nothing short of that would work. If all it takes is a couple of cruise missiles, why haven't you been advocating that all along as the "solution" for Iraq?

I also recall a lot of ridicule, of wimpy Presidents (pre-NeoCon era) who threw a few Cruise missiles at terrorists who attacked our embassies and tried to sink our warships. Which, as the Hawks correctly pointed out, just irritated them mildly, without in the slightest stopping or deterring them.
