OT ** re shorts.

I think the short interest level has different significance for relatively illiquid stocks like wdc, with well defined, known large holders. Where the bid/ask sizes actually mean something because they stay visible and steady for hours at a time.

I think I have been able to identify days when a large holder was selling - even which institution it was. And at which point they were done selling.

So in wdc, I consider the shorts my best friends. The more, the merrier. Because nearly every single share of wdc short is currently under water.

So hey, please don't say bad things about my friends.

And oh, yeah. Congrats on pulling your shorts out of the fire unscathed yesterday. Knew you could do it. Never doubted it a moment.
