OT ~ Has anyone here read Neal Stephenson's "Snow Crash"? One of the underlying themes is that we all start out with the same cerebral hardware, which then gets molded with the software (language), as pathways are established to accommodate for the concepts. Multiple languages = More pathways. The book is pure fiction, of course, but my personal experience with people & languages suggests that he might have a point.
