Peruvians are still naive. They actually think they can produce with capital stock offers in a SA country. Trouble is who is going to invest? Has to be overseas people. Then that means that they will not do it unless there is no capital gains tax, and they can get their money out. That is how Canada did it. When the government gets greedy, and it will, (Argentina don't you cry for me), then the golden goose will be cooked.

More power to them. It won't work, but at least they are trying. When Wester countries dimly realize that taxes cannot get any higher without becoming a multiple of the money produced, we may someday be able to compete.

What we need is politicians in place who are not socialists first last and always, not carried away with economics being a solution or be all end all, and have the practicality to implement time honoured solutions.
