Zonder- I doubt if you are aware of it, but you lose credibility by being virulently anti-American. Cho was correct by pointing out that you never attacked Saddam.

Being loved is not in the formula-- being safer is. That safety extends to Iraqis and others in the ME. You fail to distinguish the impressive freedoms achieved in a moment after Saddam was disposed. Certainly, there are cultural clashes, and there are minefields.

However, your one-sided attacks on American motives does not add to your credibility. I still do not buy the Bush argument that Iraq was an immediate threat. However, I was impressed by Tony Blair's reply to the demonstrators; "If a million demonstrate, it will be far fewer than those who lost their lives due to Saddam Hussein." I'm still pissed at the UN (read france) for their callous indifference to Saddam's atrocities.
