Bob; All I got is a guess, but China will have little bitty cars,
like they have in India, ( have you seen some of them ) they look
kinda like a rickshaw with a little 10hp 2 cylender air cooled enging
hung on the back, and get about 100 miles to the gallon. They need
lots of roads instead of the dirt trails, moterized bikes could
be a big seller, they will want something they can peddel if the
engin breaks, or the gas runs out. As for selling them computers,
just enough for them to decide which ones to duplicate, they will
in short order make their own. If you think the trade surplus with
Japan is bad you haven't seen nothing to what it will be with China,
China the new fronter..it's a joke, unless your Chinese.
They are very nationalistic, and a strong "buy made in china" ethic will last with them as far into the future as I can see. If they buy
any thing foreign it will be only what they can't produce or make,
and then only long enough to learn how.
Have you checked any shoe stores lately..if 80% arn't made in
China I'll kiss your rear.
Jim
