Powell lied when he showed those photos of Iraq's WMDs to shore up the case for war. WMD and Saddam's connections to terrorism as direct threats to US are lies. Getting rid of Saddam's regime to control Iraqi oil, first step of Israel & Palestine to peace, to settle old score of daddy's, and to satisfy inner John Wayne fetishisms are closer to the truth.
