< Yes, now the oil belongs to the people instead of being stolen by Saddam and his sicko Ba'athist regime. Billions can now go to an impoverished people and not into palaces, backyard cash, and weapons in schools and hospitals. It is wonderful, isn't it?--MK-- >
Curious then that the administration is letting out lucrative, no-bid, contracts to their friends at Bechtel, that Rumsfeld represented at his meeting with Saddam in the eighties, when he was the right wing's best friend, and Halliburten, that Cheney ran. Shouldn't the Iraqi people be deciding who they want to hire?
Israel will get a pipeline directly to them from Iraq, BTW, and right wingers will suck up any explanation for it that Bush contrives.
Oh. I forgot. Anybody who questions anything this administration does in Iraq is a traitor.
Sorry.
