Thu Ra Tin: There is absolutely no comparison between HEC and AIPN.
Harken went into Columbia already with domestic oil prodution and refining operations, ie. earnings. The only comparison you could possibly draw, is they were lucky to get the contract acreage they now have. And actually in HECs case it was politics George Bush Jr. (major share holder in HEC at the time) was most likely responsible for thier entrance into Columbia. Should also note they have three wells drilled, Estero #1--4100 barrels/ day; Torcaz #1 and#2 approx. 600
barrels/day each and should increase to a 1000. Thet also have 2 rigs drilling full time.
Also should note that after all the financing they have about 140 mm
shares outstanding.
Regards,
Kenny
PS: why can't you say AIPN is like AIPN( not Triton or HEC)
