Yahoo, Ebay and Amzn are all in a bubble imo, with stock prices unrelated to fundamentals, that has gone well beyond where I thought it would go. All the remaining new economy investors and mo mo investors must have congregated there.

I agree. For the last five or six quarters Amazon has been posting figures suggesting long term profit margins of 5%. This means that ten years from now, Amazon will have earnings of $750 million on sales of $15 billion. Give it the long term S&P P/E of 15 and what you get? Today's share price!

And here's me thinking that one invests in a company because one thinks it would be worth more ten years from now than what you paid for it today.
