I think they figure it will just blow over -- you know, as in, "we won, so who cares about WMD anymore?" I have never considered a group of people in the WH to be deeply misguided and dangerous before -- not until now. I am generally indifferent to most government policies and actions -- but to have a dangerous foreign policy and an economy that just cannot seem to get on its feet is a terrible waste of the talents and energies of the American people. The USA can and should play a leading role -- but not like this. This is not leadership. This is incompetence and arrogance.
