Oh, I agree that the Aussies participated for their own valid regional security interests.

(I didn't suggest that they did it to save their wheat sales... I was quoting the previous poster, and responding.)

But still, having forgotten or failed to get any assurances from the US in advance of the war that we wouldn't dump our subsidized wheat in Iraq, and trash Australia's free market sales, the PM there is under some heat.

'Naive' is one word being bandied about....
