Paul, I agree with you about twisted logic reigning freely in this forum. It's also unfortunate that many investors (not just Intel detractors) fail to recognize the fact that the reduced level of profitability growth of late may, quite possibly, be the result of a sacrifice that Intel is willing to make in the near-term as part of the company's overall strategy of consolidating its market share in the long-term. Instead, many investors seem to view the successful outcomes of such a strategy (e.g. losses at Cyrix and AMD) as evidence that a catastrophe has hit the PC/microprocessor industry as a whole!
