Hey Reymond,

Tim posted that Dyke story yesterday and that is what got the whole conversation going.

(Before I continue I want to clarify that it is NOT my intention to defend the US mass media.)

Having said that, who is Dyke to accuse anybody of impartiality. From what we hear it is the BBC that is getting targeted by anti-war protestors, they are in good company with the Sun, Fox, etc..

Dyke's preaching about responsible reporting carries as much moral conviction as Dubya's talk of Democracy and free elections. There is a reason the brits call him the 'new Murdoch'.

For more about Dyke refer to:

Try to read the whole thing, I esp. liked the Stalin part.

Dyke is a big time player in the new world order and he is 1. carving out his piece of the pie and 2. setting up the BBC to be the 'objective' mouthpiece of that order.
