I'm a big supporter of Bush's foreign policy - well, since 9/11/01 anyway.

Just curious -- did you not see the administration's handling of the downed plane in China (which was, at the time, considered a foreign policy CRISIS) as impressive? I thought at the time that incident was handled with absolute expertise. Also, the withdrawal from the treaty, which was essential and could never have been done by a weaker administration.

These seemed to me to be major foreign policy successes, while minor by today's standards, would have been major by the standards of other administrations...
