""We just don't KNOW if the people are better off in Iraq now than before")" She's not the first high profile person to say that and I don't know why that sends some folks into convulsions....the current situation in Iraq is in flux at best and the Iraqi's clearly don't want us there even though they don't want Saddam either. But if the fundamentalists gain a foothold, imo, they very well may have been off under Saddam....or if civil war erupts between the three factions and they decide to "cleanse the country" Clearly their daily quality of life right now has been disrupted and is worse than it was before the war started. Lots of people have been killed and wounded including the latest batch of who knows how many by the exploding ammo dump.
