In re your list idea, EC - #reply-18886729 ... i just typed the following over on ihub - ' ... just caught a few posts here on a discussion of email lists/spam etc ... i find email completely useless now, due to the volume of spammer garbage incoming ... huge amounts of time necessary to delete the crap, most times now i just hold my finger down on the delete button, make it all go poof ... if there was anything in there of value, too bad, it's just become a useless medium'

Really it is worse than useless, at this moment i am scared to download my incoming as it may again overwhelm the capacity of the machine, and i may not be able to find my teenage techie to fix it, on a saturday ... the volume of crap is just fantastic, there can be hundreds when i let it go for a while .... room for some legislation here, i think, on making it mandatory to show source accurately, now they bounce it off other people's computers apparently ..... anyway, i can't personally get past that, in regards to anything to do with email, so haven't considered other pros and cons to it .... generally i think i might prefer this form we have right here, of public bulletin boards .... private stuff can be hugely time-consuming, i find, also it's easy to stray into the insider information trap, with some of the juniors, as we can be made aware of stuff coming up with them, through their financing efforts, just the nature of the game
