What I retained from that piece is the hypocrisy of the US. They were calling for the respect of the Geneva convention when it served their purpose. Yet they show no respect at all for the same convention wiith regards to the prisoners at Guantanamo. No one knows who these prisoners are; how long they'll be kept for; whether their families are aware of their imprisonment; are they allowed to receive visitors; what are they charged with? Our government makes it's own laws. In the long run they will be held accountable IMO. All the while the media remains silent.
