The candidates Bush supports for govt office in California can't even make it though the Ca republican party system

I came to the conclusion long ago that the Cal Repub party has a death wish. They keep running Social Conservatives who want to ban "Victoria Secrets" catalogs and think that all women should be forced to carry babies to term, no matter what. They have one Libertarian Republican Congressman, Chris Cox,who is excellent. But otherwise, they run jerks.

I was not surprised to see the poll numbers you just posted, with Bush at 61% approval. Those are "war" numbers, but unless a disaster happens, Bush may carry Calif next election.

I see you are in Berkeley, one of the few towns that makes it's own Foreign Policy. :>)
