In the case of the article, the creator/artist gets paid regardless of whether the article is posted or not.

The amount that gets paid to writers will be lower if people don't actually go to the web sites. Of if the articles are scaned from a magazine and posted.

I mainly lumped them together because both are copyright violations. They are technically illegal and they are using the works of others without their permission in ways that they don't want them to be used.

As for the having people get paid I think that links should be posted with articles and the readers should follow them. I also think people should buy CDs of the mp3s that they like.
