Edison was a big disappointment this Q, and without that, EPS should have been at least $0.15.
Regardless, 1997 definitely looks like a full year of B/E to modest profitability, like maybe $0.30-$0.50. Let's hope Edison is higher in Q3, as they should be.
Edison's the last monkey on ARCI's back. Looks like ARCI won't be able to bid on PUC contracts until mid 1998 now, according to my conversations with management.
Heavy volume lately, 20,000+ shares, up from couple K daily. Someone's buying. Still below book, nowhere to go but up. Balance sheet improving, retail sales up 10% from Q1, same store sales up 18% from year ago, and sales per store up to $74,000 per Q now. Things are firming up... |
